MediSpring was founded in Year 2014 by two Malaysian doctors with the vision of providing a multidisciplinary medical team that is patient-centered, caring and engaged as the most trusted partner for primary healthcare.
MediSpring strikes to provide affordable yet quality multidisciplinary medical care and preventive medicine to the communities and beyond. We are very proud of our success so far, and we will continue our journey and be a leader in primary healthcare with the help of Big Data, AI and new cutting-edge technology.
MediSpring has now grown to include more than 100 professionals from various healthcare fields, consisting of Family Doctors, Surgeon, Physician, Paediatrician, Orthopaedic, O&G, Psychiatrist, ENT, Radiologist, Aesthetician, OHD, Dentist, Physiotherapist, Dietitian, Nutritionist, Personal Trainer, Yoga Master, Paramedic, Nurses and Nurse aid.
Our healthcare team has received degrees and postgraduate degree recognition from universities all over the world. We are constantly improving the qualifications of our healthcare team through postgraduate programs overseas in the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Europe.
We grew rapidly from 2014 to 2019 in Southern Malaysia. We opened our First branch in 2014 and grew to 10 branches in 2019. We set up a proper backend support office and different departments.
In 2020-2021, COVID changes everything. When COVID hit Malaysia, our sales dropped more than 90% because everyone was afraid to come to the Healthcare center. COVID also caused supply chain disruptions, many testing kits and medications are out of stock in Malaysia. Increased costs associated with safety measures ,PPE and staff training. We stop all the expansion immediately and reserve our cash for the purpose of paying all our employees full salary.
As front-liners, we are scared too. Our family was scared of the unknown virus too. Management had an urgent meeting, and all agreed that we continue operation as usual because we want to give on-going support for our local community. These are our commitments.

We increased the community areas we serve from only 10km radius to 100km radius today. From serving only 2700 patients in 2014 to serving more than 150,000 patients in 2023. And we are still growing! We have now accumulated more than 1.2 million patients who visited us (2023 data).
We strengthened our internal control by hiring in-house accountants. We invited a renowned forensic accounting consultant from Europe to serve as our Independent Non-Executive Director, a Ph.D. graduate in Machine Learning from the USA to be our AI advisor , a Health Data Scientist also from the USA to act as our health data advisor and Independent law firm as our legal advisor. This is also part of our ‘do it right’ motto.
